Biography of Philip Austin
I have run fitness classes for the last five years from Circuit
Training for Adults to Judo for Children. I have run circuit training,
martial arts fitness classes, stomach/abs workouts, cardio and fat
burning and worked as a personal trainer. I normally run an average
of one to two classes per night with an average class of 15-20 people.
Prior to being an instructor I trained from 1981 - 2003 in Martial
Arts and competed at North of England/National Level in Judo. In
addition to Judo I also trained in Karate, Jujitsu, MMA (mix of
Thai Boxing/Submission Wrestling) and Brazilian Jujitsu.
During my years of competing I had to train away from Sheffield
to gain the training I needed so was trained by some of the best
instructors in the country, and because I trained in various Martial
Arts I have gained far more knowledge than I would had I done the
same one over the 22 years.
In addition to Martial Arts, I also used Gyms/Fitness Suites, and
distance running to prepare myself for contests. I have also acted
as a lifeguard over 6 years.
Personal Recommendations
Recommendations from class members on Sheffield Forum
"Its way way cheaper than going to a gym, I've seen a real
change to my body in the sense that I'm 2 dress sizes less now,
I'm toned up and I've lost weight. I never achieved that when I
went to a gym. The atmosphere is nice, and is a refreshing change
from the run of the mill circuit classes you find in gyms."

"If you are serious about getting in shape, I'd recommend
this class. Not only am I saving an absolute fortune on gym membership,
I am seeing results that a gym or a diet cannot match. I have lost
weight and toned up everywhere. I'm only training once a week, and
so this saves me time The class atmosphere is really good as well.

"I attended this class on Tuesday as I have done since
the start of the year and am really enjoying the training. The workout
is varied each week and the instruction is carried out in a nice
way, so a beginner going on their own (which I was) does not feel
stupid. The atmosphere is fun, and although the workout is intense
at times the one hour training session seems to go really quickly.
Would highly recommend this class, it seems to be very effective,
plus I’m saving a fortune on gym memberships." - Jules_81

"I would also recommend this class to anyone who wants
to get shape, the workout is good and although my abs were a little
sore for a few days the workout seems to be definatly doing a job.
There is a good mix of men and women and the atmosphere is very
friendly, no cliques, I arrived on my own and didn't feel out of
place. Exellent value for money, far cheaper than the gym and based
on current results, far more effective " - LuLucy
